JULY FOURTH, 2015

For those of you who will take a quick peak at the 4th of July's blog, please accept my joyous salute to you and the rest of our wonderful, but imperfect, country.  The United States has a lot of things that could stand perfecting, but you do have to give us a salute for trying! I am proud to be an American, and also proud to be an American Christian. I hope you join me in my salute, and in some way, show your pride of country.  Thanks be to God for freedom: from threats, from bullies, from hopelessness, and from lack of love.  Thanks to our forefathers who gave us laws and protection from lawlessness. Lord, help us to be faithful to these laws and thankful, always, for the protections they bring.  Bring us another year and many more of security, and thanksgiving.  And thanks, too, for the Lord who provides for us within this great country.Amen
