ALL DRINK AT THE SPIRIT'S FOUNTAIN

In I Cor. 12: 12. 26. the Scripture tells us "Each of us is now a part of Christ's resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain, His Spirit, where we all come to drink....If one part of His Spirit, you or me,  hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance."

We Christians are all One in Christ.  We have been invited to live in Christ who is whole and holy, and I am part of Him.  Each of us is part of Christ.  The me in me is dead; the you in you is dead.  And Christ lives.  His Spirit is our well of life.

Here is how we live through His life.  If one of us is hurt; we all hurt.   If one of us flourishes; we all flourish. If one of us sins; the sin belongs to all of us.  If anyone is forgiven; we are all forgiven.  If any one of us rejoices; we all rejoice for we are One in Christ. Whether we are near or far, Methodist or Lutheran, male or female, we are One.  There is no place among us for disharmony or competition.  It's up to each of us to be watchful and always helpful to one another, to safeguard or return to harmony and equality.  We are One.

God, You are our God, our Creator, our Savior, our All in All.  May we truly be One Body, your Body here on earth, dear Jesus.  Amen.

All together, for Christ lives in us.
