In 2Corinthians 5:7 it tells us, "We walk by faith, not by sight." And in 2 Cor. 5:16, 17 it says, "From now on we regard no one from a human standpoint...because if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; everything old has passed away. See, everything has become new."
Paul declares that because we walk by faith and not by sight, we see people differently. We see in each person a totally new creation in Christ. We no longer see people as mean, degraded, lost, sinful....we see them through the eyes of Christ...as potentially new creations!!
When we are confronted by someone who initially might be offensive to us, Jesus comes in and says, "See that person from my viewpoint--a new creation, perfect in me. The old person is gone and a new creation is within."
Lord Jesus,May we never again judge anyone of being unworthy of your saving grace, but accept them as a new creation. After all, you accepted each one of us! Amen.
