NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD

With a New Year beginning, let us look at Luke 1:37, "Nothing is impossible with God."  God as Creator brought forth the earth and all that is in it, including humans.  He later created John the Baptist and Jesus for His glory and revelation.

We must always remember this truth:  with God, all things are possible.  When we see no way out of some mysterious dilemma, we have God's assurance that He has a plan.  Not all plans have to do with us individually, but when they do, He tells us that we need to never give up in despair as He's in charge.  Therefore, we can relax and not be fearful.  Thank you, God for your divine Creation.

And to celebrate this new beginning of this new year, let's also look at Luke 1:47..."I am glad because of God my Savior." Mary's condition of her heart was, "I am glad,"  Let's let our hearts be glad, too.  Gladness is joy.  I want to let joy fill my heart whether I am with family or hear good news about my family.   So, even if I am alone and we are together only in mind, I want to be joyful.  And I can be, because of my Savior.  Like Mary, I am glad simply because of the existence of God.  God's Spirit gives such peace that wherever I am or whatever I do, I am glad. Bird song, blue bells, snow angels, playing ball with the dog--each brings the presence of God.

Thank you, Lord God, for the peace that surpasses all understanding.  On this first day of the New Year, I re-dedicate my life to you.
