AND WHO WILL SPEAK FOR THESE?

Hebrews 7:25 tells us: (Jesus) "is forever able to save the people He leads to God because He always lives to speak to God for them."

Jesus always lives; He never dies.  When we came to God through Jesus. we found Jesus is always alive to God and with God and speaks to God for all people, including you and me.  What an incredible gift to receive!  We are the object of love about whom Jesus speaks--to God!  His speaking involves prayers of supplication for us--for me!  What a great love!  I wonder, God, will I be at your feet someday praying, supplicating for those I love who remain on this earth?  I hope so.  Starting right now, I will practice being at your feet and I will speak to you my supplications for those I love.

Lord, I pray for our family, for Peggy who is settled into a good life, one that she fought hard for, may she, as our eldest, show the way for others, who may find themselves someday to be behind the eight-ball.

Lord, I pray for Peg's daughter, Tirah, and her husband, Shawn, who want so much to have a child.  Prepare them, please, for being the kind of mom and dad that will enrich the child's life.  May their child love you, God, and serve you in his or her lifetime.  I pray for Dane and his wife, Jess, and their precious daughter, Scarlet, that their lives will be full and blessed and that they would  each love you and know you.  I pray for Kael that she will continue to love those around her and be blessed by You.  I pray for Lynn and Gary Bolmgren, Jenna and Dan, that they will continue to love you and each other, and that their lives will be full and filled with goodness.  I pray for Mitch and Mette, and their two  beloved children, Isaac and Alaya, that their hopes and dreams may be realized and their love shared with all around them.  I pray for our daughter, Jean, and her husband, Leif Anderson, their daughter Linnea, husband Brandon, son Oliver and the present baby Linnea is carrying that they may be yours always. I pray for Jean and Leif's second daughter, Bayley, who married Evan John and bore a daughter they named River Grace, our little Rivie, who already prays like her mommy and daddy. I pray for their third daughter, Annika, that she will always be yours and know the happiness only you can give. And I pray for each child yet to be born or named in the family of Johnson.  Bless each one in every way.

Thank you, God, and help each one of us to love the world in which you have placed us and to always remember to return love to that world in Your precious, Holy Name.  Amen.
